The Raleigh-Durham area has long been booming when it comes to active adult communities. The area is currently home to 28 age-restricted or active lifestyle communities, while Cary and Apex themselves host eight communities combined. That number is about to grow with Epcon Communities’ announcement of The Courtyards at Kildaire Farms in Apex.

Like most Epcon communities, The Courtyards at Kildaire Farms will be 55+ and offer attractive options for people looking to downsize. That includes single-floor, low-maintenance homes in a quaint and down-to-earth setting.

Many details have yet to be announced, but we currently know the community will include 49 single-family homes and amenities such as a pavilion and bocce ball courts. There will be six different floor plans in the community, all being Epcon favorites. That includes Palazzo, Portico, Promenade, Salerno, Torino, and Verona. Sales are expected to begin in August.

Epcon has built several popular communities in the Raleigh area, like The Courtyards at O’Kelly Chapel, Villas of Wake Forest, and The Courtyards at Andrews Chapel. The builder provides active adults with affordable and practical options all in a high demand area, making them the preferred options of many North Carolina active adults.

Raleigh and its suburbs give residents a chance to enjoy a mild climate, multiple outdoor recreation spots, and many historically important sites. The area is also home to great shopping, dining, and entertainment options, including professional sports.
