This active adult community near Durham combines the best of both worlds: a quiet neighborhood that’s conveniently close to restaurants, attractions, and shopping. The low-maintenance homes designed by Epcon Communities allow residents to live a carefree lifestyle with neighbors who share the same interests.

This new community has amenities that will keep homeowners healthy and active. The Courtyards at O’Kelly Chapel includes a clubhouse that’s complete with a multi-purpose room and catering kitchen, ideal for hosting community parties. Residents will never have to worry about purchasing a pricey gym membership because the clubhouse will also include an exercise room.

The thoughtful amenities continues outdoors with a resort-style pool, walking and biking trails, and a scenic pond.

The Courtyards at O’Kelly Chapel Homes & Real Estate

Epcon Communities started this active adult community in 2015 with plans to encompass 92 single-family homes. Homebuyers can select a home from three floor plans in the Courtyard Series. These detached residences offer between 1,519 and 2,769 square feet of living space. Customizable options include two to three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and a spacious two-and-a-half-car garage.

All of the homes were designed for active adults with first-floor master suites and maintenance-free exteriors. Other desirable features include optional second floors to expand living spaces and included private courtyards for entertaining outdoors.
