We live in Jubilee and so enjoy our beautiful new home here! Our new Jubilee friends are from all over the country, and we find that everyone goes out of their way to be friendly and help make our new and all of our residents feel welcome every day. Going on daily walks here are so much fun to see our friends and experience the lovely walking paths and hiking trails. We love hiking the surrounding mountains and playing a variety of sports including pickle ball, billiards, bocce ball, and lots of other exercise and social activities with “something for everyone!” Weather is spectacular here with the big blue skies, low humidity, cool breezes, and sunshine almost every day of the year! Come to Jubilee and see what retirement can be like in a place where “everybody knows your name!”

5.0

Such a great community! We're looking forward to moving here. Any event we've attended here has been so much fun. Our friends in the community tell us that Jubilee puts the "active" in active adult community. Homes are lovely, clubhouse is lovely, and the people are just wonderful. Can't wait! Le bon temps rouler!

5.0

I have to speak up and tell you that Jubilee is a great retirement community and a friendly and beautiful place to live with mountains around you and the beautiful sunsets are spectacular! The residents are welcoming and wonderful. These bad reviews are Not True, and I wanted to tell you about the great things at Jubilee… activities of all sorts…social, sports, exercise, and fun parties and clubs if all kinds for everyone to enjoy! Come see for yourself! Jubilee home sales are booming and people from all over the country are building in Jubilee to enjoy the sunshine, mountains, and most of all…the great neighbors that want to get to know you!

Jubilee is an outstanding 55+ community with so many friendly and caring residents and many floor plans to choose from to build your “Dream” retirement home. There are so many exciting things to do at Jubilee for every kind of person. Great clubs, social activities, community parties, sports galore including pickle ball, billiards, swimming, bocce ball, hiking, and a big variety of exercise classes including yoga, dance classes, Zumba, indoor gym, card games of all kinds, Trivial Pursuit, Mahjong, and so much more! These 1 star reviews are SO wrong and do not represent Jubilee! Come see for yourself!

5.0

Such a wonderful community! Homes are BEAUTIFUL!

5.0

These bad reviews are totally NOT true! We have friends in Jubilee and it is so beautiful there and people are the most friendly and caring people that you can find! The homes are well built and the Mountain Views are spectacular! Some trees died last winter with harsh temperatures, but already a replacement plan is underway to plant new trees and shrubs that will do well in desert areas. We feel Jubilee is a wonderful place to live ! Home sales are booming in Jubilee!

5.0

We are Jubilee residents and do not understand or agree with any of the bad reviews! We love living in Jubilee and have so many wonderful new friends here! The Jubilee community is “TOP NOTCH” offering numerous clubs and activities with “something for everyone” plus many luxury home plans to build here with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. We live here and love it! Jubilee is the best!

5.0

Was sad to see so many “bad” reviews. I think the community is changing but truly for the best. Change is hard for some but for the rest of us 250+ residents staying, we love our amenities and beautiful homes. There are many actives and positive people. But I must say, just like anything in life; if you look for negative you will find it. Come join us positive folks!

5.0

High quality homes in such a friendly community! We met the Villa Director at a function last fall and she was so very welcoming-- every amenity we could want. We met several homeowners gave us firsthand accounts of what it is like to live there. Outstanding reviews! Several of them called it 'Shangri-La' and we agree. We'll be there soon!!!

5.0

We have lived here 1 year. The people here are friendly and we do a lot together. I could go on but this place is outstanding! You have to see it and make up your own mind. We love it here!!!!!!!!

5.0

Very nice facilities and love the layout of the community with so many vistas. Tucked back into the base of a mountain and the home designs are very well laid out.

5.0

Thanks 55 Places for leading us here. Couldn't ask for better. Very friendly place with decent weather (warm, but dry) just a quick commute from Albuquerque.
Activities..... always something going on, dinners out, happy hour, tours, and parties. Something special for holidays. If there is no special occasion... we'll make one.
Great selection of models AND unlike other developments, they will accommodate reasonable changes to the floor plans.
The clubhouse (Villa) is fantastic. It's huge... activity rooms, pool, hot tub, exercise room, lending library, classes, you name it, we have it.
Wonderful, wonderful place... thank you, 55Placs for leading us here.

5.0

Great club house, excellent facilities and wonderful people. The quality of our home is top notch. There is so much to do here, that we barely have time to sleep. I would definitely recommend Jubilee Los Lunas to anyone, either wanting to retire or just for a different lifestyle. This is the place!!!

5.0

We are very happy with our new lifestyle at Los Lunas. We moved from our old family home that we had for nearly 20 years, went through the downsizing process and couldn't be happier. We're still close to our family and friends locally but we've made a lot of new friends here too. The community is very friendly and has a lot to offer it you're wanting to keep busy and be social.

4.0

The community is still growing with new homes being built and bought. There was a management change last year, which made visible improvements to the functioning and maintenance. Complaints about the previous management were deserved, but appear to be in the rear-view mirror now. Moved in during Spring of 2021 and learned that many longtime residents were bummed about the drastic curtailment of activities that were available pre-COVID. Coupled with this a new housing development started adjacent to the westside of Jubilee and the first stupid mistake that developer made was denuding the entire 180-acre site of vegetation, which allowed the prevailing winds to blow significant dust onto Jubilee seasonally. I think these factors contributed to negative reviews. Nevertheless, the residents here are generally very friendly and welcoming, and count several neighbors as new friends. Activities have been steadily increasing throughout 2022 and are probably back to pre-COVID levels. The previous developer's landscaping and maintenance neglectfulness are being rectified. I hardly give anyone 5 stars, because perfection is a rare thing. So, my 4-star rating means that I would move here again, knowing what I have experienced the last two years. This a quiet, safe gated community with as much activity as you care to engage. You will be welcomed here.

3.0

I'll give it 3 stars because of the quiet and scenic location.

3.0

Please mention change in ownership and taxes. 100 homes out of planned 700 are sold. New models coming soon.

2.0

Would not recommend. Had friends who bought and left in two years. What is promised in the community is not delivered. More and more rentals. No licensed realtors on staff. Clubhouse needs work and updating. Gave 2 stars because of scenic location.

1.0

It's sad because the people are great. Great people can't make up for uncaring developer, aging infrastructure and a HOA board that is controlled by the developer, his family and their lawyer. The home designs are dated along with amenities.

1.0

I give this place 1/2 star for decent roads. Very few activities due to COVID, a highly paid activity director who is rarely on site, and multiple problems with new construction and landscape. Management has ruined the possibility of a decent community due to lack of resident support and a growing negative reputation. You can believe a home owner or comments written by staff. Major number of existing homes for sale by people who have moved on to a better environment.

1.0

The place has become sad and neglected. I lived there for 5 years and moved one year ago due the lack of caring by the developer and his staff.
I wish the ratings could be below a 1 because jubilee should be rated a big, fat zero.
Many residents are moving out or have moved out due to what jubilee has become.
RUN: RUN QUICKLY in another direction. Retirement should not be living like this.

1.0

My parents live here, moved from another state. a couple years ago. So totally discouraged for this community and for my folks. It is falling apart not only in what you see but also in management. I am helping them find another place to move.

1.0

What they say then do are two different things. Charge you for anything outside of basic construction. The community is a big mess. Choose the other 55+ developments available. We ran away.

1.0

Holy Schmolly. Jubilee will have new developers once again. This will be the 4th owners. No repairs or landscape care being done. Believe me - run. It's a true mess.

1.0

Challenging management, landscape dying, sand problems to the west that is now causing termites. Yes, termites. I wouldn’t pitch a tent here.

1.0

Lived here but bailed out like so very many. Truly has gone down the tubes and I don't see any funds returning to the community or repairs being made for a long long time. Go elsewhere, this place and the landscape are dying.

1.0

Jubilee has gone down hill in the past two years with neglect. Big sand problems to the west. Sadly, not what we were looking for in retirement.

1.0

So, so , so many problems with what is now looking like a neglected community. Very little money being put back in to the community. Construction sand problems to the west. This is not shangrila or what retirement should be.
