Development of Rarity Bay began in 1994 with 1,600 homesites available for a variety of housing options that range from intimate condos to custom-built estate homes. Situated on the 18th fairway, the condominiums at Rarity Bay range from approximately 1,200 to 1,600 square feet in size with one to three bedrooms and one to two bathrooms, each with its own one-car garage.
There is a large selection of single-family homes in Rarity Bay situated in different neighborhoods. The Bay View neighborhood includes villa homes with three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and a two-car garage. These low-maintenance homes are between 2,400 and 3,000 square feet in size and some include private dock rights, screened-in porches, and open decks. The Bay Pointe (The Chateaus) neighborhood is a private reserve near the end of the peninsula with large estate and grand villa-style homes. Mont Claire Village’s low-maintenance French Country-style floor plans range in size from 1,800 to about 2,650 square feet. These include three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two-car garage. The Bluffs at Rarity Bay is a newer neighborhood with homes that have 2,750 to 6,000 square feet of living space.
