At the center of the community is the 35,000 square-foot clubhouse. Here, residents enjoy a myriad of amenities both inside and outside the clubhouse. While use of the clubhouse is not included in the purchase of a home, there are many membership options to choose from to fit every lifestyle. Inside the clubhouse members can stay in shape at the state-of-the-art fitness center. The ballroom hosts community parties for all residents and can also be rented out for private parties. Numerous clubs meet in the multi-purpose room and residents often get together for a few games of cards or billiards in the hobby and game room.

Outside of the clubhouse members love the junior Olympic pool which is heated for use all year long. A large patio and sundeck create a great spot to relax poolside. Harbor Hills Development started building homes in 1989 and at completion plans call for 940 single-family homes. Homes in the community are offered on a new and resale basis. Homebuyers can choose from a variety of floor plans or work with the Harbor Hills design team to custom build the home of their dreams. These single-family homes range from 1,997 to 3,806 square feet of living space. Homes offer two to four bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two to three-and-a-half-car garage.  These homes were designed with open floor plans and oversized master suites. Optional features include back patios, golf cart garages, and in-ground pools.

Harbor Hills Country Club offers its residents a full calendar of clubs and activities. Residents enjoy socializing with each other over bridge or at Sunday brunch.
