The community will include 950 homes upon completion and nearly 70 percent of the homesites are located directly on the water. The Island Club is a brand new 18,000 square-foot clubhouse at the center of Lakes of Mount Dora. The beautiful facility is the main hub for all community social and fitness activities. It includes a state-of-the art fitness center, hobby rooms, grand ballroom, and library. The clubhouse is surrounded on four sides by water accessible by a road bridge. Residents can even drive boats directly to the clubhouse.

Outside the Island Club there is an outdoor resort-style pool. There are also miles of walking trails in the community and a fitness trail with exercise stations provides an exciting way for residents to stay active.

The community was originally started in 2005 by Pringle Development who built approximately 200 homes in the community before it was acquired by Medallion Home in 2011. Medallion Home introduced a distinct lineup of 12 new single-family floor plan models that range from 1,673 to 2,922 square feet. These models are available in three collections that include 40', 50' and 60' wide homesites.

In addition to the new construction homes offered by Medallion Home, there is an assortment of the original floor plans built by Pringle Development available on the resale market. The availability of resale homes changes frequently. The Pringle homes were built between 2005 and 2008 and included features vary per home.
