Indoor side by side zero entry at lap pools at an active adult 55+ community.
Keep your swimming routine uninterrupted at these active lifestyle communities in the Phoenix area.

5 minute read

Why might you want a community in the Phoenix area with an indoor pool when there’s all that sunshine to enjoy outdoors? Well, in Central Arizona, the temperatures start to go over 100 degrees as early as May, and they stay that way into October. Half the year, it can be hot outside for days at a time, forcing residents to stay inside as much as possible and run their air-conditioning. Any chores like gardening and shopping tend to be done early in the morning, and that’s when the outdoor pools get crowded too.

Therefore, an indoor pool is an appealing amenity at an active lifestyle community within the Phoenix area. In these communities, residents don’t need to give up swimming simply because it’s too hot outside. Central and Southern Arizona also have their summer monsoon season, with heavy rainstorms usually in the afternoon or early evening, which also prevent the use of outdoor pools.

Here are some Phoenix area communities with indoor pools to help you stay fit and refreshed no matter the weather.
