Residents can also unwind at the outdoor pool and spa or enjoy friendly games of pickleball, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and golf at the putting green. Leisure World calls itself “Disneyland for adults” because of the many unique activities you can join, such as antique clock repair, tap dancing, and more. The community has 2,664 homes and an average home price of $352,000.

One of the perks of Leisure World is that people ages 45 and up can live here, provided that 85% of the other residents are 55 and older. This gives families moving in greater flexibility. Also, like many other communities on this list, you can see the Superstitious Mountains from your home. Of course, with your RV, you can go see them up close.

4. Sunland Springs Village – Mesa, AZ

7. Sun City West – Sun City West, AZ

Sun City West is a large community with 16,900 homes. Many of the houses were built between 1978 and 1997, and there are over 140 models available, ranging from single-family homes to duplexes.

If you choose to call Sun City West your new home, you will have access to nine restaurants in the community as well as four recreation centers and seven golf courses. Also, you don’t have to worry about maintenance while you are traveling in your RV, thanks to the many homeowners’ associations (HOAs) at Sun City West. Chores such as exterior maintenance, landscaping, and trash removal are handled by maintenance staff.
