Well-known builder Del Webb has just recently opened its newest 55+ community, Lone Tree. The Lone Tree age-restricted neighborhood is located within the master-planned community of the Lone Tree Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.

Smaller than many other age-restricted communities, the idea behind Lone Tree was to create an intimate neighborhood where homebuyers have a variety of choices in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Del Webb’s Sun City, Sun City West, and Sun City Grand are much larger communities located on the opposite side of Phoenix. Del Webb opened the Lone Tree community in September 2015.

Homes at The Lone Tree

Comprised of single-family homes, homebuyers have several models in two separate collections to choose from as these brand new homes arrive on the market. The Retreat collection has three models: the Sanctuary, Haven and Preserve, which range in size from 1,715 to 2,010 square feet.

Each model has two to three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attached two-car garage. These homes are typically priced from the high $200s to mid $400s. Lone Tree’s Encore collection is in the same price range, but there are four home models to choose from: the Pursuit, Serenity, Endeavor and Journey.

The Encore collection’s homes are slightly larger, ranging from 2,023 to 2,509 square feet. Homes within the Encore collection have two bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. All residences in both collections are single-story homes.

Some models have an optional third bedroom (or den), and all come equipped with extra storage space in the garage. A homeowners’ association fee covers general maintenance, freeing up time for residents to enjoy all that the community has to offer.

Amenities

Speaking of community, Lone Tree was built with attractive amenities and convenience in mind. Avid golfers will love the option to purchase a membership at the adjoining Lone Tree Golf Club which is comprised of a beautifully manicured 18-hole course, state-of-the-art golf practice facility, professional PGA staff, and fully stocked golf shop. Some of the homes have great views of the golf course.

The purchase of a membership also includes access to other amenities besides golf. This includes access to the clubhouse, which has a multi-purpose room, outdoor resort-style pool, patio, and fire pit. Many of the community’s clubs and groups meet at the clubhouse. Additionally, there are miles of walking and biking trails as well as parks to enjoy year-round. All of these can be enjoyed solo or with resident cycling or walking groups. There is also a restaurant called The Grille located at the golf club.

Local Attractions

Lone Tree is located just 22 miles southwest of Phoenix, allowing residents to also enjoy what the city has to offer. Love baseball? There’s Chase Field and Camelback Ranch. Other Phoenix attractions include the Camelback Mountains and the Phoenix Zoo. Locally, residents don’t have to drive far to shop or access medical care. The community is conveniently located right off Highway 87 and only 15 miles from I-10.

Homebuyers, both retirees and working active adults, looking to live in an age-restricted community that has more of an intimate setting may find Lone Tree to be the perfect choice.
