Built from 2007 to the present, these homes feature modern finishes and updated styles. Homes range in size from 1,295 to 2,828 square feet with two to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.

This popular community boasts beautiful amenities, including a 22,700-square-foot clubhouse, a fitness center, a library, a billiards room, a card room, and an arts and crafts room. Homes at Suncountry were built between 1989 and 1999, with 980 to 1,500 square feet of living space, two to three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. These one-story homes boast desirable features such as dual-pane windows, two-car garages, high ceilings, and walk-in closets. 

Amenities at this gated community include two clubhouses, which include a multi-purpose room, a library, a catering kitchen, and multiple billiards and game rooms. Outdoors, residents enjoy multiple pools, paved walking and biking trails, a shuffleboard court, two tennis courts, and two horseshoe pits.

Heritage Park

Mid $300s – Mid $500s

With both attached and single-family homes, Heritage Park offers homebuyers plenty of options. As the highest-priced community on this list, it also offers beautiful modern and updated homes. This mid-sized, gated 55+ community is located five miles north of Downtown Sacramento in the North Natomas area, and it’s comprised of 965 homes.

These homes come in a variety of floor plans, including both single-family and duplex style. Most homes are one-story, but there are some two-story plans. Homes in Heritage Park range from 1,087 to 3,264 square feet with two to four bedrooms, one-and-a-half to three bathrooms, and a two- or three-car garage. Many homes feature a den that can be used as an additional bedroom as well.

Residents of Heritage Park enjoy a variety of resort-like amenities, including a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse that acts as the social hub, complete with a stunning ballroom and a lively pub. There’s also a library and a theater to enjoy as well as a fitness center, group exercise rooms, and an indoor pool. Outside, community members take advantage of the many sunny days by the outdoor pool or at one of the five parks. They also enjoy the tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts as well as horseshoe pits, badminton, and bocce ball areas.
