Stonecrest Amenities

Stonecrest features plenty of amenities for residents to enjoy. A 7,000 square-foot clubhouse known as the Crest Club features a fitness center, enclosed saltwater pool, arts and crafts room, game and card room, meeting room, tournament-quality billiards room, kitchenettes, computer room, and library.

The Stonecrest Community Center is another building adjacent to the Crest Club that offers plenty of space for large meetings, parties or staged performances. The Community Center has a large performance stage, lighting and sound systems, and men's and women's dressing rooms. A catering kitchen is also on-site for preparing meals for an event.

Just outside of the Crest Club is the Recreation Complex where, residents can find even more great amenities. They can enjoy the resort-style pool and spa, spacious patio with gas grills, bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, cornhole courts, a softball field, and pavilion. There is also a Veterans Memorial Garden, which is a great spot for remembering America's heroes in a quiet park-setting. Other outdoor amenities include an outdoor heated pool and pickleball courts in the Eastridge neighborhood and an outdoor pool in the Meadows neighborhood.

The Broad Stripes Golf & Social Club is another great facility for golfers. Privately owned but conveniently located right in the heart of Stonecrest, this facility offers a golf pro shop, on-site restaurant, driving range, and practice putting green. The semi-private 18-hole championship golf course and 9-hole executive par 3 course are great for players at any skill level.

Stonecrest Homes & Real Estate

Construction started in 1990 originally under the name Floridian Club Estates, until Stonecrest Management took control in 1993. A total of 2,224 single-family homes make up this 55- and- over community. Homesites are 1/4 acre in size and many homes are located on the golf course. Houses range in sizes from 1,238 to 2,243 square feet. Homes typically feature two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and a two to three-car garage.

There are a variety of models offered in the community on a resale basis. HSome of the existing homes for resale have screened- in porches and pools, golf course or open farm views, brick driveways, or three-car garages. Association dues are fairly reasonable. In addition, owners who purchase “Villa” homes enjoy yard maintenance services provided by the Association for an additional fee.

Stonecrest Lifestyle

This 55+ community provides a laid-back, rural atmosphere with easy access to everyday needs, as close as right across the street. While residents definitely enjoy a desirable country club lifestyle and golfing is a major appeal, there are many other ways to spend the days. A full-time activities director, plus two social clubs and two onsite bands, are on-hand to make sure the Community Center sees plenty of social events. In addition, there are a variety of clubs and activity groups to join, such as aerobics, billiards, book club, bridge, bunco, computer clubs, Mah Jongg, pickleball, photography, sociable singles, softball, tennis and more.
