AV Homes won big at the 2017 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Florida last January. AV Homes received a total of nine NAHB 2017 Best of 55+ Housing Awards during the ceremony, which was announced by the NAHB’s 55+ Housing Industry Council.
Developer and active adult community builder AV Homes won gold and silver awards for its top communities and home designs in Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina. Some of the winning highlights include Best 55+ Indoor Common or Amenity Space for Encore Club at Encore at Eastmark, Best 55+ For-Sale Community with Over 200 Homes for Solivita, Best 55+ Clubhouse for The Captiva Club at Vitalia at Tradition, and Best 55+ Sales Center for Creekside at Bethpage. This is the first year AV Homes wins multiple awards for its communities and the only year it received five awards for offerings within the same active adult community, Creekside at Bethpage. The prestigious award is given to builders with leadership in design, building, and marketing within the active adult housing market.
“It’s an honor to receive national recognition for our master-planned active adult communities and amenities in Arizona, Florida and North Carolina,” said AV Homes President and CEO Roger Cregg in a prepared statement. “We focused on portfolio growth and development in new markets last year and are pleased with the prospect of the opportunities that lie ahead for our vast offering of 55-Plus neighborhood developments.”
The NAHB’s 2017 Best of 55+ Housing Awards was also celebrating its 25th anniversary of its award ceremony.
