Registration for US Open Pickleball Championships Opens January 9

Get ready for some serious pickleball.

The Minto US Open Pickleball Championships is opening its website for registration on January 9-10, 2019, and you need to act fast.

In the past, spots for pickleball tournaments have been hard to come by due to the incredible response organizers have had to their events. Veteran participants have talked about their tendency to sit anxiously at their computers and hover over their phone screens – waiting for the moment that they can claim their spots.

This is the US Open, so you should expect nothing different. Spots for both singles and doubles will go quickly to active adults looking to make a mark for themselves in one of the most popular recreational sports sweeping the nation. Forget shuffleboard and bocce. It’s all pickleball, and the best players around will gather in Naples, Florida for the annual tournament next spring.

Even better, this year’s event is sponsored by our Most Popular Community of 2018, Latitude Margaritaville in Dayton Beach, FL.

When to Register for the Tournament

You can access online registration beginning on January 9, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. EST. You’ll need to register according to your skill level, so make sure you know in which class you want to participate.
