Two of the Houston area’s top 55+ communities are welcoming seven new floor plans courtesy of Darling Homes. Bonterra at Woodforest in Montgomery and Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear will be adding the Sanctuary Collection to its already impressive lineup of home models.
Darling Homes is partnering with Taylor Morrison, the original builder of both communities, to bring even more options to Coastal Texas for active adults. Both builders have received several awards over the past few years, including four of the last eight Builder of the Year Awards given away to the Greater Houston Builders Association.
"Today's 55+ homebuyers are looking for homes that fit their active lives, communities that deliver a meaningful experience and a value they can't find anywhere else," said Amy Rino, president of Taylor Morrison's homebuilding operations in Houston. "At Bonterra, we're delivering on all three of those desires. Adding Darling Homes to that mix gives our homebuyers even more options."
Taylor Morrison began construction on Bonterra at Woodforest in 2014 with plans to build 700 single-family homes priced between the mid $200s and the high $300s. Construction on Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch began two years later, also with plans to build 700 homes at the same price points. Darling Homes will begin construction on the new houses this spring.
The Sanctuary Collection’s seven different floor plans will include homes sized from 2,386 to 3,149 square feet. They’ll include three elevation styles: traditional, mediterranean, and modern. All homes are highly customizable to each owner’s preference and will include base features like wine storage grottos, panoramic patios, and open plans. Homes are expected to start around the high $300s in Woodforest and the mid $300s in Cross Creek Ranch.
