Active adults looking for an idyllic retirement in Virginia should consider Mosaic at West Creek.

HHHunt Builders just announced that there are now three new model homes open at Mosaic at West Creek, their new 55+ community located less than half an hour from Richmond, Virginia. This sought-after development will have 471 new attached and single-family homes upon completion, and private tours are now available by appointment only.

Mosaic at West Creek is a resort-style, master-planned active adult community, with homes designed by three award-winning builders: HHunt Homes, Schell Brothers, and Stylecraft. There are many indoor and outdoor on-site amenities to discover as well, so residents have plenty to keep them busy year-round. Some homeowners have already moved in, construction is ongoing, and new sections are opening up.

Floor Plans

There are four HHHunt townhome models, ranging from 1,931 to 2,239 square feet with two to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three bedrooms, large kitchens with dining nooks, and attached one- or two-car garages. These are priced from the upper $300s to the low $400s and offer options like screened-in porches, tray ceilings, and extended patios.

The four Schell Brothers single-family floor plans are priced from the mid $400s to the low $500s and are sized from 1,661 to a generous 5,061 square feet. They offer three to six bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, great rooms, hardwood floors, and attached garages. There are different elevation options, and other opportunities for customization like sunrooms, chef’s kitchens, luxury bathrooms, and flex rooms. Some models also offer multi-level courtyards and finished basements.

Stylecraft offers three more single-family floor plans, ranging from 1,664 to over 1,838 square feet with two or more bedrooms and bathrooms and attached two-car garages. These comfortable homes have large owner’s suites, flex rooms, open kitchens, and outdoor living areas. Homebuyers can choose from options like gas fireplaces, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and three-seasons rooms.

Amenities and Lifestyle

Mosaic at West Creek has a homeowner’s association (HOA), which handles certain community services and charges reasonable fees. Once more families have moved in, residents will also have a long list of neighborhood events and clubs to enjoy as well as a lifestyle director. Homeowners can also look forward to these upscale, “vacation-inspired” amenities:

  • “The Conservatory”—this indoor/outdoor gathering space will have gardens, an outdoor kitchen, and a firepit.
  • The Connexion—this is Mosaic at West Creek’s welcoming clubhouse. Plans call for a state-of-the-art indoor fitness facility, a resort-like swimming pool and patio area, and multi-use sports courts.
  • Walking Trails—you can stay in shape by walking or running on more than nine miles of sidewalks and trails.
  • Dog Park—Fido and friends will be more than welcome at Mosaic at West Creek’s new dog park.
