Woodlands of Urbana in Maryland has seven models currently open by appointment only.

As 2020 draws to a close, the elegant new 55+ community Woodlands of Urbana is now in the selling phase, with seven models open by appointment only. More About Urbana, Maryland

If you’re not familiar with Urbana, it’s about seven miles outside of Frederick, MD and has a population of around 12,000. Although there's plenty of shopping in that downtown area, the Villages of Urbana shopping center is even closer to Woodlands, with a Giant Foods (and pharmacy), a farmers market, a nail salon, restaurants, and other services. Regional medical services are provided by Frederick Health and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. You can get to any of their three hospitals in about 20 minutes.

Frederick also has a Walmart, other grocery stores, unique restaurants, museums, wineries, breweries, and theaters. This charming town also has a walkable Main Street, and it's a lovely space to visit during the holidays. Or if history is your thing, be sure to visit Monocacy National Battlefield and the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.

You'll also find countless opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors in the Urbana area, starting with Whiskey Creek Golf Course and P.B. Dye Golf Club.
