Del Webb began construction this year on its new 55+ community called Del Webb at Chateau Elan, that will be located at the intersection of Thompson Mill Road and Spout Springs Road and end in a cul-de-sac east of the former Reunion Country Club entrance in South Hall.
Del Webb received a site development permit for its first phase of construction that will have approximately 200 lots. The company expects to start selling homes this year. Although pricing has yet to be finalized, homes are expected to be between the $200,000 to $400,000 range and would target residents aged 55 and better.
Del Webb plans to offer eleven floor plans with one to five bedrooms. The builder plans to complete development of the community by 2025. Del Webb Chateau Elan will consist of 385 acres and will be adjacent to the Chateau Elan resort in Braselton.
It will also be less than a mile away from the Village at Deaton Creek, which is another Del Webb community that is resale only. This new active adult community will feature a 20,000 square-foot clubhouse, fitness center, hobby and game rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and multiple sports courts.
