Active adults looking for an intimate neighborhood in Eastern Pennsylvania are sure to love the scenic beauty of The Village at Maidencreek. This townhome community has plans for just 110 homes, yet its inviting clubhouse and popular amenities also appeal to many active adults aged 55 or better. The community also offers a prime location in Blandon, Pennsylvania, within easy reach of Philadelphia, Lancaster and other area destinations.

Opened in 2005, by Larkin Associates, The Village at Maidencreek was designed for both retirees and working active adults. While the community is small, it offers a close-knit atmosphere where residents can easily get to know their neighbors. Community gates provide additional privacy and security as well. The Village at Maidencreek has plans for just 110 townhomes. 

Residences at The Village at Maiden Creek 

These homes feature low-maintenance exteriors and open interiors. While most townhomes do have second-story lofts, their designs include first-floor master bedroom suites for easy main-level living. Homes are currently available on both a resale and new construction basis. Lovely townhomes throughout the community are available in five floor plans, ranging in size from 1,494 to 2,367 square feet.

Each model features two or three bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms and an attached one-car garage. Kitchens include modern conveniences, while living rooms and great rooms offer optional corner fireplaces. First-floor master bedrooms include en suite bathrooms and large walk-in closets, while second and third bedrooms are often located on the second floor along with a full bathroom. Second floors often feature open loft areas as well.

Amenities

The Village at Maidencreek brings residents together through its spacious clubhouse. This welcoming facility lets residents socialize in the bar and fireside lounge, enjoy a friendly game of billiards or relax on the screened porch. There is also a multipurpose conference room where residents can hold special-interest group meetings or other events.

When residents want to exercise, the clubhouse’s fitness center offers treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines and a weight lifting station. Locker rooms are available to let residents freshen up in privacy. The clubhouse also offers a tranquil whirlpool spa, as well as sauna, steam, and massage rooms for relaxing and rejuvenating after a good workout.

Just outside of the community, residents will appreciate Blandon’s small-town charm and nearby attractions. The area features a number of challenging golf courses, along with diverse restaurants and convenient shopping centers.
