Singles looking for an active adult community in Pennsylvania have these three options.

According to Philadelphia Magazine, the City of Brotherly Love has a large population of singles. It reported that 65 percent of the women and 58 percent of the men here fall into the unmarried category, and these numbers are some of the highest in the country.

A dense urban area like Philadelphia has countless places to meet singles, like restaurants, bars, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, you name it. Events like the popular Broad Street Run also attract unattached participants and are great ways to meet people.

There are also options that are closer to home, though. Active adult singles have the choice of moving into a community that has its own singles club. Single homebuyers who are searching Philadelphia real estate in 55+ neighborhoods should consider these options.
