Buyers interested in Port St. Lucie homes for sale in the LakePark at Tradition community will soon have additional new construction options. GHO Homes has acquired 130 available lots to join Minto Communities in completing construction of the 55+ community. While the Minto properties are attached villas that come in pairs, the GHO Homes properties will be single-family homes. Both developers are excited about the variety the partnership will provide to the local housing market.
LakePark at Tradition Home Models
GHO Homes is still determining what its floor plans will look like, but buyers can expect open and livable spaces as well as large master suites and plenty of private outdoor space. The company is based in Vero Beach, and it has developed a number of communities along Florida’s Treasure Coast. The company focuses on using high-quality materials and methods, implementing the latest design features and finishes, and promoting energy-efficient systems and components.
Buyers interested in one of the paired villa homes available from Minto Communities have five models to choose from within the Harbour Collection. The Buttonwood has 1,565 square feet, two bedrooms, a den, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The Mahogany has generally the same layout, with 1,616 square feet, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an attached two-car garage, and a den. There’s also a screened lanai.
For a bit more space, the Banyan has 1,735 square feet, and the Spruce has 1,780 square feet. Both models include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den or office space, an attached two-car garage, and a lanai. There are large dining areas, spacious kitchens, and plenty of storage. The largest attached villa is the Magnolia, which has 1,862 square feet, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. This floor plan includes a hobby room with optional doors and a large lanai adjacent to the master suite.
These Minto homes have been under construction since 2015, and they're in the final phase of selling. The properties have been popular among active adult buyers, and there are less than 100 lots still available for new construction. A handful of move-in ready homes are also on the market, and by the time the entire community is complete, there will be 644 single-family homes and attached villas. Prices start in the high $100s and extend to the high $200s. HOA fees vary.
LakePark at Tradition Amenities
Because it’s part of the Tradition master-planned community, LakePark offers more amenities than most other active adult communities. Private amenities for LakePark residents can be found in The Club at LakePark, a large clubhouse that includes a fitness center, a screened patio space, cabanas, and a resort-style pool. The event lawn is surrounded by plenty of outdoor seating and features a grill. There’s also a dog park and plenty of walking and biking trails throughout the community.
Homeowners also have privileges at TownPark at Tradition just next door. Amenities there include a clubhouse and a fitness center with an aerobics and dance studio. There are also locker rooms, multipurpose rooms for clubs and social activities, and a billiards parlor. Outside, there's a large pool and spa, a couple of well-lit tennis courts, two bocce ball courts, two horseshoe pits, and a basketball court with lights. There’s also a playground for kids, additional walking and biking trails, and a number of serene ponds among the well-landscaped grounds.
