Pulte Homes targets active adults, offers new construction low-maintenance homes in a prime location that’s close to amenities, entertainment, and major roadways.
“Homebuyers, specifically Baby Boomers, pre-retirees, retirees and empty nesters – are the housing market’s fastest-growing category and there is little to no new construction available that meets the housing lifestyle needs of the 55+ market,” said Greg Salinas, president for the company’s operations in Chicago.
“With its close proximity to amenities and employment corridors and highly-rated school district, Carrington Club provides a great opportunity to the underserved empty-nester in the area.” Carrington Club appeals to retirees and empty nesters because of its low-maintenance homes as well as its close-knit suburban setting.
Homebuyers can choose from four unique designs that offer 2,397 to 3,415 square feet of living space and have two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Pulte plans to build just 29-single-family ranch and two-story homes that feature master suites on the main floor, spiral staircases, luxurious finishes, space for entertaining guests, and open-concept layouts. Other home features include oversized kitchens, large showers, sitting rooms and guest suites, and optional customization options like a second-floor loft, sunrooms, and basements. Homes are priced starting in the low $600s.
The community’s attractive location also sets it apart from other developments that are lacking in the area. Carrington Club is within walking distance to Whole Foods and Midtown Athletic Club and is just over a mile from shopping and dining options at Willowbrook Town Center. Interstate 55 and Route 83 are a few miles away and the Westmont and Clarendon Hills Metra Train Stations are just a mile-and-a-half from the community. Other nearby attractions include Green Meadows Golf Club and Ruth Lake Country Club and Golf Course.
