Tivoli Lakes and Coral Lakes unveiled upgraded clubhouse facilities and renovations throughout their communities. Both communities were constructed in the early 2000s, and the updates are expected to raise property values and attract a fresh pool of potential buyers seeking Boynton Beach homes for sale.
Tivoli Lakes Expands and Renovates
Around $2 million was spent by developers at Tivoli Lakes to update and expand the amenities, community areas, and European-inspired setting that’s home to 324 single-family homes. An open house was held on February 22, 2020 to unveil the changes and welcome local real estate agents to take a look at what the community could offer potential buyers.
At Tivoli Lakes, there's a 23,000-square-foot clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center, a sauna, locker rooms, and an aerobics and dance studio. Residents also have access to a lounge and sports bar, a gathering area, a multipurpose room, a card room, a library, a billiards room, and an arts and crafts studio. Homeowners enjoy gathering at the theater for movie nights and live performances, and there’s also a catering kitchen for parties and community events.
The resort-style pool is a welcoming oasis, and there’s also a wading pool for visiting grandchildren. Private cabanas along the patio make sitting by the pool especially comfortable, and there’s a tennis pavilion with six lighted Har-Tru courts.
Renovations are especially beneficial to the dozens of social groups and clubs that are part of the lifestyle at Tivoli Lakes. There’s a book club, a social club, and several tennis clubs. Holiday parties are frequent, and fitness classes and seasonal get-togethers are very popular.
The homes at Tivoli Lakes come in two collections. The Vintage Collection features four models with 1,907 to 2,999 square feet, two or three bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms, attached two-car garages, an extra room which can be used as a study or office, and an outdoor veranda. The “Good Morning” room off the kitchen is a great place for breakfast or a snack.
The Estate Collection provides a bit more space, with homes offering 2,746 to 3,112 square feet, three or four bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The open floor plans in six wine-themed models have master retreats, covered outdoor areas, and lots of flexible space. Prices at Tivoli Lakes range from the high $300s to the low $700s.
Coral Lakes Residents Enjoy a New Clubhouse
At Coral Lakes, more than 100 residents attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new clubhouse on February 8, 2020. The facility had been closed for eight months during the $4.2 million renovations, but the 72,000-square-foot, two-story clubhouse is now one of the largest in Palm Beach County. Nearly 1,400 households contributed $3,000 each in a special assessment to pay for the upgrades. While this might've been difficult to accept at the time the checks were written, most residents agree the results are well worth the cost.
The new and improved clubhouse includes tile floors and fresh carpet as well as better lighting and a rebuilt interior. The large and contemporary fitness center now has a view of the pool. Coral Lakes is much larger than Tivoli Lakes and employs a full-time lifestyle director, who can now put the new space to good use with club activities, social events, and parties.
Amenities at Coral Lakes are extensive. In addition to the new clubhouse and fitness center, residents can enjoy an indoor pool, a steam room and sauna, a cafe, a ballroom, seven card rooms, a game room, and a 600-seat theater with a stage. Computer stations, a library, and a place for billiards also take up space in the clubhouse and community area. Outside, there’s one huge resort-style pool and five satellite pools throughout the community. Paddleball courts, shuffleboard courts, and 10 tennis courts give homeowners an opportunity to stay active.
There’s a wide range of properties and price ranges at Coral Lakes. Buyers can select a low-maintenance condo in a two- to four-story building with elevator access. Models have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, reserved outdoor parking, and some have a den. The Chardonnay offers 1,509 square feet, and the Majesty offers 1,869 square feet. Prices hover around the high $100s to the low $200s.
Attached homes in the Crystal Pointe collection have 1,569 to 1,861 square feet with two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage. These coach homes and villas are offer single-story or two-story configurations. Prices start in the high $100s and move into the high $200s.
Single-family homes are available in four distinct collections and more than 10 models. Most homes have 1,654 to 2,300 square feet, two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. Most homes also have an open floor plan, some have an extra room for a home office or a den, and all of them are beautifully landscaped.
