Some active adults who have lived in single-family homes may find it a little difficult to make the change to an attached home. Gone will be the days of larger yards, more privacy, and a little less noise
Despite that, there are plenty of great reasons to downsize when moving into a 55+ community. First of all, now that you're an empty nester there are no reasons to have all that empty space. In the end, it just becomes space that includes energy costs and maintenance. Active adults looking for attached homes will also have to pay a lower price while not giving up things like garages, modern finishes, and unique floor plans.
Here are five first-rate 55+ neighborhoods in New Jersey that offer attached homes.
