Heritage at Asante in Surprise, AZ Adds New Home Collection

Heritage at Asante is welcoming a new home collection for buyers to choose from.

Lennar is building a range of new spacious single-family homes in its Heritage at Asante gated community for 55+ active adults in Surprise, Arizona. Lennar’s new homes, which they call calls Next Gen, will allow for both multi-generational living and garages large enough to accommodate RVs. Garages like this are not common in Arizona, where RVs are popular as a means of escaping the heat during the summer months.

“We are not aware of any other builders combining those two different products together into one home,” said Michael Dowell, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Phoenix operations, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

Some Arizona communities do not allow the storage of RVs, or they’re permitted only for limited periods, making garaging them difficult. These new models in Heritage at Asante are going to be big enough to store a Class A RV, the largest motorhomes available. Making these homes an ideal choice for buyers who love to travel, and homeowners without an RV will have ample extra storage space.

The Freedom Collection will be the newest addition to Heritage at Asante and features three single-family models ranging from 2,231 to 2,584 square feet. These homes have three to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three bathrooms, and attached three- to four-car garages.

The other unusual feature of these new models is what Lennar refers to as ‘multi-generational living’. These homes offer two living areas that allow families to be under one roof while still maintaining ample privacy. One private living area has its own separate entrance but connects to the rest of the house with a door.

This two-in-one arrangement is intended to cater to various options. One is that it can provide an independent office space for those working from home, so that work and leisure can be separated. Another possibility is that it can provide independent living for family members. In addition, the private living space can simply be used to help accommodate guests. The new homes are expected to be priced in the $400s when they come onto the market later this year. Other homes here range in price from the mid $200s to the high $300s.
