It's no secret that North Jersey has highly populated urban areas and a faster pace of living, the main reason being its proximity to New York City. This is only part of its personality though as there are acres of trails, forests, waterfalls, and mountains to be found as you move inland.
Those who wish to live closer to the five boroughs are used to the traffic but reap the rewards of being near the City and all that it offers. Heading out to the west, things are a bit more quiet and relaxed.
Although it's up for debate, North Jersey has six counties: Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, and Warren. Morris has the most active adult communities, but the rest also have a selection of attractive communities to choose from. Even though this highly desirable part of the state is built up, there are still active lifestyle communities that offer new construction homes.
Here are some North Jersey active adult communities with new construction homes for sale that might pique your interest.
