On top of the stunning homes, The Ocean Club in Ave Maria offers active adults plenty of options for activities.

For the fourth year running, Ave Maria has been named the fastest growing single-family home community in the Naples / Fort Myers area. Despite increasing competition in the region, this master-planned community has topped the list for the last 12 quarters.

The brainchild of Tom Monaghan, Ave Maria was founded in 2005 but was slow to get off the ground due to the mid-2000s recession. Unsurprisingly, the real estate market and Ave Maria have bounced back with incredible strength since then.

Classic Suburban Life

Located 35 miles east of Naples, Ave Maria provides homeowners with a lifestyle that puts every necessity just steps from their door. It’s known for striving to bring back the American suburb of the 1950s with a close-knit community feel, family-friendly events, and ample green space. At build-out, the community will include around 11,000 residences throughout several neighborhoods on 4,000 acres.

Many residents of Ave Maria don’t even need to leave the community to run their daily errands. Residents can find sports teams, dance classes, book clubs, and large events like the Sunshine State Steak Cook-Off within the neighborhood. Ave Maria is able to do this because it hosts amenities people have come to expect from a suburb, including a school district, several parks, recreation centers, and a golf course. The community is centered around Ave Maria University, a great option for continuing education.

Del Webb Naples

The flagship community in Ave Maria has long been considered Del Webb Naples. The 55+ neighborhood will have 2,000 single-family and attached homes upon completion. There are 32 floor plans for homeowners to choose from, each providing residents with a low-maintenance lifestyle.

Home Styles

Every attached home in this community follows the same floor plan, Serenity, a 1,543 square-foot home with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two-car garages. The single-family homes in the community start at 1,157 and go up to 2,334 square feet of living spaces. They include two or three bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and two or two-and-a-half car garages. Homes are modestly priced from the low $200s into the high $300s.

The community provides active adults with all the amenities they’ve come to expect from Del Webb but with the added touch of Ave Maria. The centerpiece of the amenities in Del Webb Naples is the 12,000 square-foot clubhouse, Oasis Club. It features a state-of-the-art fitness center, movement studio, steam room, and saunas. Many of the community's lifestyle opportunities take place in the gathering room, activities room, arts and crafts studio, catering kitchen, and cafe.

There are plenty of ways to stay active outdoors here, including the resort-style pool and spa, lap pool, two tennis courts, four pickleball courts, four bocce ball courts, and miles of walking trails. Homeowners also have the option to purchase a membership from Panther Run Golf Club which includes access to the 18-hole championship golf course, practice facilities, and the pro shop.

Besides private amenities in Del Webb Naples, residents have access to other Ave Maria amenities. This includes North and South Parks, which feature more tennis and bocce ball courts, playgrounds, a dog park, and an outdoor amphitheater. Another amenity open to all Ave Maria residents is the Ave Maria Water Park. It includes a lap pool, resort-style pool and spa, sand volleyball court, and picnic pavilion.
